Well folks, I’ve managed to keep waffling on for a whole year and you’ve been kind enough to join me on some of my trips around the British Isles. So, all I can say is, thank you very much.
My very first post quoted the great philosopher Ferris Bueller, who said: “Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” How right he was, I’m really grateful that you have joined me as I look around the British Isles, bunking off from the stuff I probably should be doing.
As a thank you to all of you, I have opened up my archive to all subscribers so that you can pick up on any posts you might have missed from the 68 I’ve published so far.
In the last year I’ve journeyed from the city where I was born and the town by the sea where I grew up down to the far south west of England and up to the north east of Scotland. I’ve visited Wales; Northern Ireland and one or two of the other islands that make up these British Isles.
I’d love to hear what your favourite posts have been, whether that was joining me on my first ever solo flight; learning about the Brown Willy Effect; finding out who killed Donald; or visiting Dhoon Glen.
I’ll keep on wandering and waffling and I hope that you can continue to join me as I go Bunking Off.
